The People started this petition to Scottsdale Unified School District and
The dress code sexualizes and objectifies young girls bodies. They say that are bodies are a distraction and make the boys’ education more important than the girls. When the boys wore crop tops, they didn’t care. When the girls did, more than 30 of them got dress coded. This just proves that they are sexualizing our bodies. In the code of conduct, it says we can get up to a week of suspension for showing our shoulders, stomach, legs, or back. Things that everyone has and yet only the girls are targeted. Please sign this petition to help get rid of the restrictive dress code at our school.
