PETITION TO SCOTTISH AMBULANCE SERVICE AND SCOTTSH GOVERNMENT
We the undersigned ask that the SCOTTISH AMBULANCE SERVICE AND SCOTTSH GOVERNMENT
 work together to ensure that the future of the said service will be suitable for purpose for all concerned.

A small group of familys have came together to put this petition together as we have been let down by the Ambulance Service (not crew)

We were told no ambulance was available or had to wait a long period of time for our  loved ones.

People of Mid Argyll are becoming seriously ill  due to longer waits or no ambulance available at all.

How long is it going to be before someone dies because one ambulance is not available in our rural area!!

• We want to know why does 1 crew cover such a vast  geographical area.
• Do on call not cover for another ambulance that is on a call or has had to travel else where.

In the past 8 weeks -

•1 man told no ambulance while having a heart attack at home  

•1 woman lies on floor with broken leg for 10 hour 

•1 child lies in a drive way with broken arm in shock semi unconscious 

•1 man waits 21 hours to be transported to Glasgow for surgery following a heart attack 

These are only a handful of cases that we are aware of. 

Our local Ambulance staff  are amazing but why the shortages.

So many questions.?
