The planned development is an insensitive and inappropriate response to the site and environs. A mixed use proposal should be developed in consultation with the community. The development should include wild areas for unstructured play, growing space and affordable/social housing. An architectural competition with criteria greed with all concerned would ensure a harmonious outcome.

This is a fantastic community space that is well used by local people and children love it. In an age of technology and fears of children's health being impacted on, a space for children to play outside is a much needed and cherished resource.

Children need these experiences, to help develop & grow. Leave the wood alone!

This is a special and unique space for young children in the West End. My son is just 16 months but already has gained confidence to explore in the Wood and I am confident that it is a safe place for him to do so.

The Children's Wood is a fantastic place and should be left as a space for children.

I think it would be devastating if the children's woods were took away. So many reasons to keep it as it is.
