Scrap or significantly reduce the charge for bedside tv in hospitals

Would you all be so kind and sign this petition? I think it is really unfair that tv is so costly whilst in hospital and it's a disgrace considering people in hospital are already receiving less income if they work and are receiving ssp. There are also pensioners on a low income, families on benefits expected to pay a ridiculous amount of money for tv.
Recently my gran was in Raigmore hospital for a week, to have tv by her bed during this time cost £43. My gran has been diagnosed with a long term illness and stays in hospital will be inevitable. Being unable to work and having paid her tv license in full for her home address why should she have to pay to have it while in hospital?? A lot of patients are unable to get to the day room and with the number of patients that are staying in hospital the day room would not be fit for this purpose. It's an unrealistic expense during an already stressful and challenging time for many patients and families. Other NHS hospitals in Scotland have scrapped this so why can't raigmore in Inverness??
If the costs can not be scrapped they should be significantly reduced.
