While I am 100% supportive of anything that will improve race relations, maybe Scotland ought to look at their nearest neighbour and stop with the racist anti-english propaganda. To be told to 'go back to your own country' is just bizzare because the UK aka Great Britain is my country-born and bred here and am white but have an english accent
Racism takes many forms and is not exclusively a BAME experience

This is much needed and long overdue reform on all 3 points mentioned in the petition. For example, little is taught in Scottish schools on BAME contributions to national prosperity and peace - past and present. In some schools there are significant number of children from BAME backgrounds with near zero representation in teaching and leadership. Transparency and accountability should be pushed, especially at leadership level to ensure that equal opportunities and a well balanced education is indeed adhered to - not just in word but deed.

About time this happened. Can't believe teachers get no race awareness training. It should be compulsory

I am an educator who sees sense in truncating the agenda and making education a tool for veil dropping
