Currently any complaints about the conduct of sheriffs is an internal procedure with other shrieffs deciding the outcome. This can lead to a bias , and an unjust outcome. How can you get justice if the judiciary are policing themselves. The complaint procedure should always be done by a independent body for it to be fair, benefitting a modern court system.
