My daughter is 2 years old and her along with many of her young friends is being traumatised by the way we have to test them for Covid - 19. At this age it is very common to have multiple colds and coughs a year and temperatures can be the symptom of a number of viruses their little bodies are not yet immune too. I have lost count of the number of tests we have had to give my daughter, she is terrified and starts screaming "NOT ME" and holding her nose as soon as someone comes to the window to check our appointment for the test. She even screamed when I was handed a receipt through my car window while waiting for a click and collect order as she thought it was a test. 

This in my opinion is cruel, they dont deserve this treatment and as a parent its horrific to have to pin your child down and stick a swab up their nose. What I want from this petition is change, a change to the rules around young children and testing and a change to the type of test they need to take.
