The 101/ 102 route which connects West Linton, Carlops and Dolphinton with Edinburgh is currently out for re-tender and the service may be reduced from August 2018 due to funding cuts by Scottish Borders Council.

This is a well-used route which takes people to work, school, and training and offers a lifeline service to people in rural communities who might be at risk of loneliness and isolation.
