House them on the islands for the necessary time then ship them to the Australian mainland, avoiding these lockdowns that continue to occur through slip ups - crippling our economy each and every time.

We must ensure that the UK or South African strain doesn't spread here, or we'll be facing the same situation as other nations are unfortunately experiencing.

If the facilities are/were decent enough for refugees, then they're more than fine for international arrivals or repatriation cases.

Once cleared there - send them over. Surely it has to be cheaper than the whole hotel quarantine system too...
