The new changes to Medicare the Government are implementing are going to cause so much hardship to the Australian pubic who can't afford private health cover. No more rebates for orthopaedic surgery, heart surgery and general surgery. This means people will be unable to have these surgeries due to being thousands of dollars out of pocket. Not to mention people who have surgery booked In July and further who will be confused about how it will affect them. Our hospital system is crippled as it is and the Government won't fix it and now they're throwing this into the mix. The Australian people deserve better. As taxpayers we contribute to funding Medicare and need to fight against these changes. Scott Morrison, many of these people voted for you thinking that you would do the right thing by them. Is this the beginning of your plan to dismantle Medicare?
