‘By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish.’ This should scare you, it scares me. But we can stop it. Supermarkets coat too many of their fruit and vegetable products with unecessary plastic, much of which ends up irresponsibly dumped in rivers, lakes or just poorly desposited of and then in the mouths of turtles- or the lungs of seals mistaking bags for smaller fish. We need to hold ourselves responsible in order to make any type of change. We have a responsibility to renew the pollution and damage inflicted upon innocent marine life and this is how it can be done.
