Scott Morrison is a Member of the Australian House of Representatives for Cook, an electorate in southern Sydney.

During his time as Member, he has often ignored the wishes of his own electorate.

During his time as Prime Minister, he often ignored the wishes of the Australian people.

Now that he is a Member he has:

• failed to turn up for work as a sitting Member of Parliament, instead choosing to attend a private speaking gig
• decided that he doesn't want to "engage in day-to-day politics" anymore
• been revealed as having signed himself in, secretly and with no transparency to either the Australian people or his colleagues, as co-Minister for the health, finance, industry, science, energy and resources, home affairs and treasury portfolios
• stated that Australians should not trust the government

It's clear that Scott Morrison is not interested in his job as a Member for Cook anymore, so let's all ask him to resign it and allow someone who is interested in Australia and Australians to have the job.

If we gather enough signatures, this petition will be presented to Scott Morrison's Cook office with a request that he resign his position as Member for Cook.
