Our current system is not working, there is bias towards the mothers in the family law system and it is very evident. This is not to minimise the serious issues around Domestic Violence however there are good father, grandparent out there that due to the system loose all contact with their biological children and or grandchildren.
The reality is that some use the system to separate the children and use them as pawns. Australia open your eyes!

Family law court royal commission this system as we all now know, is injust, discriminative, gender bias, has no laws against perjury and persicution, both are abhorrent! To have a court of law where one can sit there and blazingly lie, and receive absolutely no punishment, but actually encouraged! Fairs Fair! Not in the family court, Shape up or ship out!! Royal commission has got to happen for the structure of the well being of our children and families

Beacause my partner has 50/50 court order that has been breached over 40 times we now haven't seen his sweet boy for a month and the mum won't even reply to our msgs , we have booked mediation for the 5th time and are on the wait list yet again to see him , court orders are not worth the paper they are written on , we have done everything right but still have to keep paying as mums seem to get away with what they want

Family Law has nothing to do with the best interests of the children , it effectively functions as an enterprise designed to extract money out of parents.
The system is essentially a stadium for battle where lies and cheating is rewarded.
Family Law swamp is stealing children from loving parents and is a national disgrace.
The current reforms will do nothing to improve the horrific outcomes as the Attorney General is taking recommendations from those very bodies/organisations who profit from the corruption in Family Law.
What a sick and twisted state of affairs

My son has,nt seen his daughter for 4yr,s due to the mother alienating him and the rest of his family from our grandchild . Due to having 3 children to 3 different fathers she,s gotten away with it far to long her parent,s fund her we cant afford the fund,s to fight in court it,s all corruption with solicitors and barrister,s and judge,s plus it,s so long and drawn out these mother,s also poison the mind,s of children my son,s child was 3 and was very close to her father the mother litrally scared the child into not seeing the father at supervised visit the child refused to see him . These mother,s need to be made acountable and sentenced for what they do to these children.

My reason for signing is this is not a far system,, it is not equal.. Women get free legal aide,, they can have to Barristers and Two Solicitors,, while men are left to self rep.. It cost my nephew $140,000,, for what,, so the drug addicted mother could get full care of the grandson they raised since he was little until all the hard work was done and he had started school,, He still wants to be with his grandparents
