Australia's 2019/20 bushfire season has been the most widespread and destructive in Australia's recorded history. So far there are an estimated 10.7 million hectares of land destroyed, over 5900 buildings lost, including 2204 homes. At least 29 people have lost their lives and more than 30 people are still unaccounted for. An estimated 1 billion animals have been killed and some endangered species have been driven to extinction. As I write this, sadly the numbers continue to rise.

Look, I am not claiming to be an environmental or scientific expert. However, is it not time we start listening and heeding the warnings and predictions from our experts Scott Morrison? The predictions that tell us, in no uncertain terms, that we will be facing more environmental catastrophic disasters like this one in the years to come!

According to Al gore, Australia is on the cross roads of climate change. David Attenborough has weighed in, warning that we will be facing unprecedented environmental disasters in the near future if Australia doesn't commit to immediate radical change. And countless scientists, fire fighters and many more experts have been warning you Scott. Even in the words of Bette Middler, who tweeted, "Pity the poor #Australians, their country ablaze, and their rotten @ScottMorrisonMP saying, “This is not the time to talk about Climate Change. We have to grow our economy.” What an idiot. What good is an economy in an uninhabitable country? Lead, you ####wit!!"

Isn't it time we start having serious discussions in parliament and concentrate on fast tracking alternative renewable resources for this country Scott? Rather than  worrying about growing the economy at a time like this. As Bette says, we will have no economy if we have no habitat!! Lets stop raping Australia of its resources/minerals and start to give a little back. It's time for our electricity to be run by wind turbines, time for every home to have solar panels, time for many desalination plants to be built all across the country, time to stop selling off our water, time for banning plastic and that is just the start. It's about time we immediately start implementing many changes regarding renewable resources. The time to act is now!!!!!!!
