It is time to call it what it is. Our world is dying around us and we need our leaders to do something about it. There is only so much we can do as individuals. PLEASE stop the use of fossil fuels, switch to renewable energy sources and protect our ecosystems. For example, over the past decade, coral cover on the Great Barrier Reef has decreased by over 50%, due to impacts associated with climate change. Laws need to be put in place to enforce environmentally sustainable practices in Australia, and world wide. The economic benefits of the utilisation of fossil fuels and mining are surely outweighed by the uncertainty of our futures. In less than 20 years, there is no going back; no hope for future generations to enjoy the beautiful world we have grown up in. Please help us save our earth; we need you.
