By signing this petition we will encourage Scott Morrison and the Australian government to bring back support for the arts.

Currently he has abolished the federal department for the arts. Taking away our right as creatives, he plans to take away the body that supports local and international artists in Australia. We cannot make it by ourselves, we need the entire community of artists and educators to get on board.

Arts education in Australia will be impacted on severely! Less money means schools won’t encourage arts education, university’s will be impacted with thousands of creatives dropping out because funding isn’t there after graduation, practicing artists; whether that be art, drama, music, dance, musical theatre, will all be stuck in a void because the Australian government doesn’t care. It only cares about taking away creative freedoms.

They will merge roads and transport with arts.... I AM NOT A ROAD TO BE DRIVEN ON SCOMO!
