Single use plastic may be convenient, but it is completely and utterly destroying the earth! It is filling our oceans, our landfills and it is taking the lives of our precious animals. That plastic straw you used 5 years ago, that is somewhere out in the ocean, or in landfill, or even worse, trapped inside an innocent animal. All it takes is to say “no” to single use plastic. But what would be even better is if we could stop the production of it all together. If plastic is causing such a huge problem in our world, why are we speaking so little about it? Is it really necessary to package a banana in plastic when it is already wrapped in it’s peel? It is just so unnecessary, but its such an easy fix. Is it necessary to buy a plastic water bottle when you can literally bring your own water bottle and drink water for free? Essentially, you are paying to destroy the earth! It doesn’t make sense. It is time to stand up. Enough is enough. Our futures are on the line. We are the ones, single handedly sacrificing our happiness, our fun or any plans we have the future. All because of plastic. Please, all we have is now to reverse or mistakes before they are made permanent. We can do it, and we will do it.
