Australians Stranded Overseas - Bring our Families Home

Australians Stranded Overseas - Bring our Families Home
Dear Prime Minister Morrison and the members of the national cabinet. There are 1000s of Australians and their families who are trying to return home. Their lives were up ended as a result of the failure of action and public policy in this country for the past 18 months, with many stranded, - nowhere to live, no income, visas expiring and even the basics of no access to transport and cars in their attempts to support themselves in finding work. There is the issue of the health and wellbeing, and especially the impact that this is happening on their mental health. They have packed everything up, did the right thing in getting their vaccinations - even before Australians were doing so months ago - have paid 2 to 3 times the price for airline tickets, only to wake up to notices now that they have been abandoned by their country and cannot return. What will you and your government do to assist in getting our families back to Australia? When will you take responsibility for this and acknowledge that more needs to be done to have them return. I know your focus groups are telling you Australians are quite happy with this "keeping us safe" mindset but appreciate that there is a growing group of us - mothers, fathers, grandparents, aunts and uncles - who are calling on you and demanding that your government take action on this humanitarian crises.
