I do not feel safe sending my kids to school and it should be optional and we should not be threatened or bullied to send them

My daughters school was one of the named ones yesterday and it worries me that they were exposed because of other people’s selfishness!! When we had the lockdown in March/April/May there were no cases around and now theres plenty around the area and the government is doing absolutely nothing about the schools closing for at least a few weeks!

I have a chronic lung condition and don’t trust we know enough about this disease to be making any judgements or guarantees our kids or adults are safe to go to school. I drove past a school yesterday 23/04/2020 and there were about 100 kids all on the same play equipment together. The governments claims about schools enforcing social distancing is a load of garbage. Many parents are still complaining that the school toilets don’t even have soap let alone the classrooms. I personally will not be risking my child or myself.

Social distancing within a school is an oxymoron
