Allow Australians to receive centerlink or government financial support while stuck abroad please as it's impossible to get a flight home now with other countries closing there borders and airlines grounding all flights, it's looking like we won't be able to fly until May if lucky. Myself I'm stuck in Thailand I came her on a low budget and had to stick with my original airline that ended up canceling, rescheduling then cancelling again until mid May.

The Australian consulate is no help they just offer to help you get in contact with family and friends to help you financially but as we all know everyone back home is struggling financially aswell.

It's almost like the government doesn't care about us aussies stuck abroad, they say just follow local immigration rules, well if that's the case how about helping by allowing us centerlink while the covid-19 pandemic is happening or I won't even be able to afford accommodation to isolate in.
