If you own and operate a business in Australia, this will help you! If you live in Australia and are struggling to find employment or and employee who will put you on full-time, then this is for you!

Who can justify having Australian businesses pay over $22 billion annually in payroll tax to the individual States for the sole reason that they are employing people? On average, for every additional person a business employs it costs about $4000 in payroll tax on top of all other expenses to keep this employee. Whereis the incentive for Australian businesses to create jobs if they are being penalised for it?

And then what about businesses operating in multiple states? It's bad enough that we have this tax but what is worse if the Levy is different in every State, there is no consistency.

It's already difficult enough for business's to thrive in this great country with all of the various Taxes, Levy's and Regulatory Requirements, but really, a tax for employing people?  Come on Australia, why are we putting up with this? As it stands the GST already creates over $56 Billion in revenue, if we perhaps looked at some of the Governments internal spending for non-productive items such as "Internal Marketing" for various Government Bodies or Items which do not contribute to the economy or infrastructure such as memorial upgrades or memorial statues or various other areas of our glorious governments current ludicrous items of spending, then perhaps we can find a solution to fund our Health & Wealth-Fare System rather then take it directly from the pockets of those who contribute to reducing the need for such systems?
