Make Masks Mandatory in Saskatchewan!

Make Masks Mandatory in Saskatchewan!
Cases of Covid-19 are on the rise in Saskatchewan. Face masks that cover the mouth and nose help reduce transmission. Unfortunately, misinformation about the effectiveness of masks in the early days of Covid-19 has left many people confused and uncertain.
Not everyone has the luxury of staying home if they're afraid or immunocompromised. Healthcare workers, store employees and many others are forced to come face-to-face with the public every day and put their health on the line. If we all do our part by wearing masks, we will be helping to protect vulnerable populations, our loved ones and ourselves.
Other countries have successfully reduced their number of active cases by enacting strict mask protocols. More recently, the city of Toronto and the City of Calgary have both mandated masks in indoor public spaces.
We're calling on the Government of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Health Authority to mandate masks in all public indoor spaces. We're also calling on the mayors of Saskatchewan's cities and towns to step up and protect their citizens if the Provincial Government is unwilling to do so.
The sooner we get virus outbreaks under control, the sooner we can get back to some semblance of normal. If outbreaks continue, our economy and our residents will undoubedly suffer.
Why wait for things to get worse?
Be proactive.
MAKE MASKS MANDATORY.
