In 2014 a Scottish independence referendum was held which did not gain Scottish independence as was hoped. There were many reasons for this loss but one of the things that the better together side kept telling the people of Scotland was that if we left the UK then we would have to leave the European union.instead a UK referendum was held where the vast majority of people in Scotland voted to remain in the EU but we were taken out against the sovereign will of the people of Scotland .we have a conservative UK government that we did not want and never voted for.yes the snp did say that there would not be another vote for a generation but it also said unless there was a material change the day the UK left the eu was that material change.our voices were ignored but they shall be ignored no more Scotland is a proud nation and we want the choice to choose our own future not have it dictated to us
