School is a central place for children. They meet their friends there, many teachers and spend almost half of their day there.But some students are disadvantaged because they are confronted with indirect as well as direct violence at home.

My petition is mainly about indirect violence.Indirect violence is domestic violence.Children and adolescents are mentally burdened by it,so that their learning success is reduced,their absence from school occurs more often and they begin to isolate themselves socially.Especially at school, the teacher can be a trusted person. But teachers are already stressed enough, which is why school counselors are a good choice. The problem, though, is that there are too few professional school counselors.

With this petition

1. I hope that the schools will be supported financially and with psychologists.The schools should have more psychologists.After all,the goal is to make the school a "safe place".
2. The topic of domestic violence should be educated more in schools.Because children do not know how to behave.Teachers should also be trained more professionally in this regard(ideas:project days,information leaflets etc.)

With the signature, many things in society would change, because the school becomes a so-called safe place for victims and a place where you can talk about taboo topics.
