Restore Schoolhouse Supplies access for PPS OTs!

PPS Occupational therapists (OTs) are no longer able to access resources and materials at Schoolhouse Supplies starting school year 2017-2018.
OTs are valued members of Special Education who work directly and consult with students within special education in order to support their ability to access their education. We have a unique set of skills and a different lens than teachers in order to work effectively. We often act as "school hackers" and problem solvers in order to remove barriers.
Unlike teachers, speech-language pathologists and other staff, OTs receive no individual budget or amount for supplies.
In the past, materials from Schoolhouse Supplies have been invaluable in the creation/supply of necessary materials for students, such as in:
-creating slant boards out of 3-ring binders
-creating fine motor kits
-creation/supply of adaptive or individualized materials
-supply of alternative assignments/tasks for students that otherwise cannot access their classroom work
-creation of sensory materials
Please support restoration of OT's access to Schoolhouse Supplies so they can support students with disabilities and their teachers/team.
