Delay the Push for Online Curriculum - Let Me Tell You Why
This petition had 130 supporters
Students in todays academic environment are being thrown into a curriculum that is based solely online. The tactile feedback that students have with paper is what enables them to learn more effectively than when they are required to read from an online source. School systems don't understand that the push for a "paper free" learning environment can not be instantaneous; it has to be implemented gradually. The current generation of students is being negatively effected by this overwhelming push for technology. What I am proposing is that school systems take a step back and realize that technology will not benefit this current generation but those much younger, and that they provide students with the tools to make a transition from paper to digital text.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my petition, and I hope you too, can support the cause to restructure the way technology is used in school.
