I am a current and long time resident of Whitney, Tx. I have children attending multiple school campuses within WISD. Country Road 1240 that runs along Whitney High School & Middle School is absolutely HORRIBLE. If you drive this road to drop off or pick up kids you know exactly what I mean. I dread it every single day. It is so bad that it is almost impossible to miss or dodge these pot holes to try and save your tires. There has to be something we can do about this. We have beautiful new school facilities and the roads leading up to these should reflect that. Unfortunately they do not. I decided instead of JUST voicing my concerns on Facebook that I would actually try and take initiative. I have started this petition in order to get signatures to bring forth to our county officials to see if there is anything that can be done! Thanks in advance for all your help to anyone who signs!
