Every day teenage girls in Pasco county are being dress coded in schools for clothing items that are appropriate, however, schools think that the clothing items are inappropriate (when they’re not). For example, boys wear shorts above their knees and if girls have a rip above their knee they get dress coded but the boys don’t. This is sexist and unfair to all the teenage girls in schools. These outrageous boundaries prohibit girls from learning to their fullest abilities and prohibit them from getting better grades and careers in the future. Also, in today’s society, it’s very difficult to find clothes that aren’t in the latest trend, for example plain jeans. This needs to change.
