Switch to Cyber (Chartiers Valley)
Switch to Cyber (Chartiers Valley)
Our school has seen a spike in Covid cases and overall sickness in recent days. Whether you are vaccinated or not, new variants of Covid-19 still infect students even with two vaccination shots. Currently we are putting our students, parents, and weakened immune at risk for what gain? Switching to cyber will reduce the spread so that we can contain the virus in our community. It’s simple, the students are not begging for a day off, it’s actually frustrating to be sitting in a class filled of students that are clearly sick. To even seeing teachers come back into work coughing and clearly recovering from a sickness. How can we be sure it’s not Covid? If a student has Covid and decides to not be tested they can easily continue coming to school and infect those around them. Students have unknowingly done this and partially even knowingly. It’s not worth spreading a sickness through our community. Fix the problem now before we are forced to be shut down. From a political standpoint, taking action now only will make Chartiers Valley look prepared and taking necessary precautions to prevent the spread. Switch before it’s too late, because we’re usually the last school to make a change.
