After 2 positive reported cases in 2 Eersterust schools, parents and school governing bodies request for all 6 schools to remain closed until further notice and DBE have provdied directive for current cases prior to opening schools for all other grades as planned

DBE to assist parents who opt for Online and Homeschooling options for teaching and learning to continue at home 

Parents and Teacher involvement crucial to ensure safety of all learners and our community as a whole moving forward 

Parents who agree for schools to remain closed to sign online/or paper petitions to be send to DBE

Parents who want to sent their children to school rights will not be infringed upon if they choose to do so. Parents to be held accountable in this regard 

Collaboration with all our local schools governing bodies, organisations and local authorities needed
