this petition isn’t to void the dress code. this petition is to create a dress code that isn’t double standard. no man has ever said “shoulders are so hot” no man has ever said “omg look at her bra strap that’s so sexy” STOP making us females hide our body that we’ve struggled to love. STOP sexualizing us because we’re a “distraction” to people getting an education. the only distraction is YOU pulling us out of class. OUR schooling is more important than my bra strap showing. how is a piece of fabric more important than an education? rape isn’t caused due to our “lack” of clothing. people in the 1800s were getting raped. why is our schools teaching men that there lack of control is okay because we can just cover up. schools all over the country need to stop sexualizing women because “boys will be boys” instead schools need to teach men to respect women’s body’s.
