Many peers of mine have either been exposed, have covid or are just sick. I feel considering the current situation and the way we can easily get covid, we should go back to online school for a temporary period of time. If we don’t kids will continue to spread the deadly disease and some could even bring it home to their family at high risk. Another thing could be if a child has covid, and school is still open, they could be missing tons of work and lessons leading their grade to plummet, especially with stubborn teachers not giving extensions. If we were to go online, not only would we be preventing cases to spread, we would also give the kids who are sick a chance to be able to learn with the rest of the class and be able to complete their work. This would really be better in many situations and I understand, school was shut down for so long and many students benefit from in person school but this would honestly be safer for everyone, and we could reopen schools after covid slows down.
