Puntledge is the place to be. If the school closes and moves to Lake trail I will be pulling my child from that school. We chose puntledge for the location and what it has to offer. Please leave puntledge at puntledge

You can't possibly beat or even come close to recreating this school setting for elementary children. It's quiet, safe, surrounded by nature, and I hope to send my children here for French immersion. I don't see how Lake Trail will save money given the amount of work needed to transform it into a school suitable for young children....

I think the Provincial Government is forcing closures across the province as a part of a more sinister plan. Once the Supreme Court has ruled on class size and composition AGAIN I think we will see what that is. Here's hoping I'm wrong. :)

I attended paint ledge as a child as did three of my four children. If I still lived in the catchment and near the school I would have my other children attend as well!
There is no other school that can provide the knowledge of or the exposure to nature and our natural resources like they can at Puntledge !! The salmon runs every year and the surrounding rivers and creeks are a great park of hands on learning that children can not get without huge costs for field trips. Puntledge has so much to offer just on the location alone. Then there is the staff that is simply amazing!!
Anyone voting to close this wonderful place should not be on any council or board!! It is a no thought decision to keep all these great options open for the children! Our education system here has a lot missing in comparison to other provinces. To take these great things away from our children on top of the lack in education they are already getting due to budget cuts would simply be sinful!
KEEP PUNTLEDGE OPEN "VOTE NO TO CLOSING ITS DOORS"!!!!!!

I've been involved in the closure process from the start and I have taken a neutral stance. Based on everything I have heard and experienced to this point I am convinced that having no students at Puntledge Park is a terrible idea. Alternatives need to be considered and chosen.
