Students should be able to sit with people that they are comfortable with. We are more likely to be engaged and enjoy our lunch with friends, rather than feeling anxious around people we don’t like. We are socially distanced a lot with the seats spread apart, and we are very safe. Also, we could pick our own seats, instead of teachers, anywhere in the cafeteria and stay there the rest of the week. This is a very lonely time for most kids and being with friends can help a great deal.
