The School system decides the bus ride based on where you live and can decide not to offer kids living less than one mile walking distance away from the school.
We discriminate the kids based on where they live and some of the kids miss the experience and learning that happens among kids during bus rides. Additionally, these kids suffer from extreme weather conditions and these parents need to make alternative transportation arrangements.
We request Virginia policymakers to consider that up to middle school all kids can avail bus rides irrespective of where they live!!!
