Currently there is no bus route for students attending Western Center Academy Hemet Unified. This creates attendance and safety issues for students, parents and the school. Parents who work during beginning and after school hours are left with making serious decisions. Teenagers are not of age to Uber but some have thought of doing so out of desperation. There are no public bus stops at this location therefore, this is not an option either. Other schools in Hemet have buses but this school highly needs as it is located in a remote area. The school has a carpool list for parents seeking carpool but there are little to no parents who are offering carpool. The purpose of this petition is to add a school bus route at this school to provide safety to students and a way to get to school. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
