At our school we are not allowed to wear leggings. This petition is for people who think we should be allowed to wear leggings. If you think that leggings should be allowed, please sign this petition and help us make better changes to our dress code. Our dress code is that we should be formal but, due to COVID-19 we can wear sweatpants because we have to play a sport but most girls still have to change into shorts or leggings yet we are not supposed to be changing at school and we are supposed to wear our sport clothes to school. Which girls are not allowed to do because it is so called a "distraction" to others. Boys at our school can wear whatever they want, consisting of sweatpants, normal t-shirts, hoodies, crew necks, pants, and many wear leggings under their shorts, which is normal for them while girls normally do not wear a skirt or tunic with leggings. Leggings with a skirt or tunic do not look formal. Sweatpants do not look formal. Every girl and I have talked to about this situation and they have told me that they would prefer to wear leggings rather than sweatpants. Sweatpants are in fact way less formal than leggings and many agree with this statement. Please help make a change and sign this petition.
