It has been decided that our school will change uniform to an ugly grey colour, with grey pleated skirts for girls and grey trousers for boys. This will take place in September for every year including year 11s. It is ridiculous as the trousers and skirts, although relatively cheap, may be especially difficult for low income families and families with multiple children; especially those going into year 11. Many people have expressed complaints yet the school will not change; please sign to help!

If we get enough signatures, the school may take it into account.

Starting in September, I will be in year 11 and will have had to purchase this skirt; however, I will be wearing it for less than a year with my mum having to pay for it! I also have two siblings which will require this new uniform - making it more expensive. It is extremely ugly and many people I know, as well as myself have said that they will feel extremely self concious about it.
