Everett Sewer was a devoted educator for over 30 years at West Homestead K8. He lead the 5000, Role Models, mentored and provided a safe space for the underrepresented youth he educated.

He had a positive impact on thousands of families within the City of Homestead.Everett Sewer was a pillar at West Homestead K8, and was instrumental to the school’s safety and success.

In his final role as Librarian, he ensured the safe arrival and departure for all of West Homestead’s Students for well over 10 years. Tragically he retired 12/17/21 and was deceased 12/21/21.

Let’s honor his legacy by either renaming 187th Court,Sewer Street, were he saw the safe arrival and departure of thousands of students annually. Or by renaming the West Homestead k8 Library in his honor as he was the school librarian for over 10 years.
