Marcos Rendon, also known as Coach Rendon, is a very intelligent, kind, and caring man. He is a great model for the youth today and is someone who most people look up to. He has changed many people's lives, including the youth in our community. He graduated from Petersburg Texas, and plans on staying here as he raises his children. 

As of March 31, Coach Rendon has been asked to step down as a Coach here in Petersburg Texas. We as a small community will not tolerate this. Everyone who has met Coach knows that he is one of the best coaches that has ever walked into Petersburg. He puts just as much effort on the court as he does in a classroom. Not only is he a coach or a teacher, but he is also someone who a student can trust and go to when they need to talk. This also refers to the staff and parents as well. Coach Rendon does so much for this community. He has been a part of the Fall League, Little Dribblers, and Summer Baseball League. He enjoys spending time with kids and helping them grow into becoming the best they can be. Coach puts the community's needs before his. That shows how much love he has for this town and the people here.

This is a small community. Most people consider each other family. Coach Rendon is family to most people. Help us stop this nonsense. Some people of this town are starting a petition to get Coach Rendon his spot as a coach back. This will not be easy, but with the help and support of everyone, we will be able to accomplish this great task. Help us get our coach back.
