By signing this petition you are helping to ban dress code at Wakefield High School. This dress code only targets females and hardly targets males which is not only sexist its exorbitant. It is the 21st century, In this generation high school students are taught and are supposed to act as young adults therefore they should be treated as such, and not as children. In the real world there isn’t a dress code so why take away the freedom of us young women to express ourselves. Give us the freedom to make decisions for ourselves. Belly’s and shoulders should be covered by choice. Saying they are a distraction to other students is an unethical and invalid statement.
