Back in the early 2010s, NVHS had a 2.5-3 week long Christmas break. In 2021 however, it has been shrunk to a meek 13 days. This gives families a much smaller window to gather with their extended family which is very stressful and unfair to not only students but students families. We will use this petition as part of our presentation at an upcoming school board meeting to try and persuade the board to give us a long we holiday break.
