Us students have been faced with problems here and there, and over the year of 2019 not only are students, but parents as well have noticed a problem, especially for those who live in Colorado, where you find it snowing here and there and icy to the point where it is dangerous. Us students at Niwot High School, May have found a solution. By creating this petition, administrators will see how this is a problem and that there is a way to fix it. Us as students have felt that no matter how long they delay school, it still may be very cold and icy, some students have trouble getting transportation and could often lead to dangerous and icy roads. Although, I respect the administrators decisions and letting us rest a little more, and we understand that we still need to learn, but, we to believe that staying safe is very important. Yes, administrators might think by delaying school 2 hours or so may fix things but that won’t change the fact that it can still be very dangerous.
