After almost 40 years of entertaining the Schaumburg community, the Schaumburg Park District has decided to cut the street theatre program. For those who don’t know what Street Theatre is: Street Theatre is a program in which park district employees would put on small theatre productions in Schaumburg’s local parks throughout the summer for children and adults. The goal of this petition is to gain a vast amount of signers to show the Park District that people are still interested in street theatre in the hopes that the Park District will bring back the program.
