As I’m sure many people have already seen from the numerous social media posts and news channels, the environment that we live in is decaying. All over the globe forest fires, droughts, construction, etc. are causing trees and other greenery to be wiped out. I feel personally that the government is so focused and consumed by the economy and money that they’re ignoring the fact that soon we won’t have an earth to have an economy for. I have read that there are quite a few water issues arising in Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and all over York county, so planting more trees would help everyone out. I have noticed that there are quite a few fields in fort mill where trees have been cut down or land has been burned and there is no construction. What harm would it do to fill the empty feilds with beautiful trees that not only make the environment better but it makes the town look better. Even though this is just for Fort Mill, one small act can have a huge impact.
