SCAD Campus-Wide Composting

Savannah College of Art and Design currently does not have any cohesive composting system. The only compost bin designated for student/staff use is located behind the SCAD Mail Center (on Boundary St.) and is managed by SCAD Gardening Club and Victory Gardens, but most people don't even know about that one.
If SCAD set up compost bins at all of its buildings, we could significantly cut down on the amount of waste we create as a university, and the compost would be reused in the SCAD community garden to grow new produce for SCAD's students and cafeterias.
Composting is easy, and SCAD has the resources to start composting all over campus! Sign this petition if you think that SCAD should take a step in the direction of environmentalism and begin composting :-) Thanks everyone!
