The 3rd Annual Bulldog Derby is Back! Time to put on your Kentucky Derby best & join us on January 15th, 2022 at Horseman's Park in Las Vegas for "a Day at the Races!" The organizers are The Bulldog Republic LLC,  a "for profit" small business that donates a major portion of proceeds to a featured beneficiary rescue (Rescue is subject to change every year, and is not required to be a bulldog-specific rescue). 

A day of family fun, food, vendors, music, Bulldog Derby Parade, Special Guests, Bulldog Skateboard Exhibition, and our 1st Annual Legends Awards to honor dogs wo have made a differences in the world! We will also be honoring Tillman the Skateboarding Bulldog,  Matilda from WWE's British Bulldogs! We also feature a Cool Down Zone, treats and snacks for your dog(s), and goody bags, a Memoriam to honor the dogs that passed away, as well as an on-site vet for the day! Disclaimer: No bulldogs were harmed or in danger at any time during any of our events (per our on-site vet statements and venue partner statements). Bulldogs are in the care of their parents 100% of the time. Only fully vaccinated and healthy bulldogs (from ages 6 months to 6 years old, and with a letter from their vet) are allowed to participate.

Each Bulldog is not required to run - which is quite the entertaining part. They are encouraged to run from one parent to the other, all while their favorite treat or toy is waiting for them! The total distance of the "race area" is 30 yards (smaller than most dog runs at a local dog park). It takes the average Bulldog no more than 10 seconds to run those 30 yards (.017 of a mile) - that is, if they decide to run! There are two Divisions: English and French. There are 4 preliminary races called Heats. Each Heat has 12 bulldogs. The top 3 bulldogs advance to The Finals race, where one is comically crowned "the fastest bulldog"!
