Petition against proposed telecommunications infrastructure - mobile phone tower (20m) and associated base station
Lot 3, 9 Noranda Avenue Morley 6062.
We, the citizens, petition the City of Bayswater to reject the application for the planning approval for the installment of Vodafone telecommunications infrastructure at lot 3, 9 Noranda Avenue Morley 6062. We oppose the installment due to the following reasons:
- The infrastructure will have a negative impact on property values within the 250 metre radius and closely surrounding areas. It is in very close
proximity to residential homes, as well as North Morley Primary School and recreational public parks at Seabrook Reserve and Dorman's Reserve.
- The negative visual amenity that the structure will bring to the area, and particularly to the adjacent properties and streets and any other
property where the tower can be seen.
- The potential and unknown health effects from radio frequency and electromagnetic energy particularly in relation to our children. These potential effects will be greatest to those within a 250 metre radius of the tower, or which there are many residential homes.
We insist that the City of Bayswater strongly rejects this telecommunication infrastructure application.
