Obomkpa is a small agrarian community. We all know how coal mining has destroyed communities around the world and how it contributes hugely to green house gas emissions. It is an activity that destroys the lives of those in the community and surrounding villages, reduces the quality of life. The people have unanimously said NO TO COAL MINING but it seems the company, MOSTRA ENERGY is bent on going on with the project. Obomkpa has been one of the peaceful communities in the Niger Delta region and we don't want this peace to be breached by people who are interested in BUSINESS WITHOUT MORALITY.
