Say NO to buying Lunchables until Kraft/Oscar Mayer stops using meat from farms that use antibiotics

My 9 year-old son, Dylan, frequently asks me to buy him Lunchables. I refuse because the meat in Lunchables comes from farms that use antibiotics in animal feed and water to reduce animal sickness and maximize growth. Through this practice, weak bacteria are killed and stronger bacteria continue to replicate -- as a direct result, antibiotics are becoming ineffective at treating stronger bacteria. This creates “superbugs. “Superbugs” are responsible for antibiotic-resistant infections that cause more than 20,000 deaths a year in the United States.
This issue is very personal to me because my otherwise healthy son, Simon, died 10 years ago before the age of two from an antibiotic-resistant bacterium. This issue is also a professional one for me as I have a doctorate in public health from Harvard and am compelled to raise awareness about the public health and medical crisis that is antibiotic resistance.
A previous petition on Change.org successfully convinced Kraft to remove cheap artificial dyes from Mac & Cheese products marketed to children. I believe we can come together, again, to ask Kraft/Oscar Mayer to ensure Lunchables do not contain meat from animals who were fed antibiotics.
Please tell Kraft/Oscar Mayer to stop using meat in their Lunchables that comes from farms that use antibiotics to feed healthy animals.
